Color Photos of American Life from the 1930s-1950s

I always pick up a certain haunted beauty from old color photography. It almost overwhelms me to think how much the American landscape has changed in just the past 70 years. (title is a misnomer)

Rail yard near a large city (Chicago or Milwaukee?)

I scraped all of these photographs. I didn’t see anything about copyright, but if they are, I am happy to remove them.
